“When I joined LDC in 2011 I received genuine support in the field. With my engineering background, I understood the theory behind management, but there was still a lot I needed to learn. After 4 years at the Arrivé Auvergne site as a butchering and packaging workshop manager, I had the opportunity to become a production director at the Cavol site as part of the internal mobility scheme. In parallel to taking up this position, I underwent Management training. This course enables us to all talk the same language, to have a common basis for our discussions, to create specials bonds with colleagues. I benefited from lots of advice and found out about essential techniques. It also had major benefits on a more personal level. I developed ties with colleagues from a range of different backgrounds, I broadened my network, I shared good practices and found out about others. Since having this experience, I have continued to train in management and results analysis. A few months ago, I was learning about another facet of the poultry business and the lively supplier relationship. What I really appreciate about the Group is the huge range of training and projects available. Every day is an adventure! ”
“Today the LDC Group offers employees a wide range of training courses from management to the so-called “business” training. To complete our internal training offer, in 2017 we introduced a module that is aimed at developing and discussing the company project. It consists of defining what a company project consists of and writing this project down. As a factory director and LDC trainer, I wear two different hats which means that I am able to support employees with my experience in the field. The appeal of this training lies in its operational and applied side. What I have learnt from this training course, and all the others, is that they are open to anybody who is curious and want to learn! ”
Every year, almost 30% of vacancies are filled through internal mobility.
In order to support the professional development of each employee, we offer a wide range of opportunities and real prospects for internal development. Anyone who wishes to do so can change job, profession or activity, in France or abroad. Thus, an employee who joins our Group as a production operator can move on to take up responsibilities as a department manager or to other positions such as those in quality, safety and environment, for example.
“Since I arrived in 1999, the Group has always trusted me. I underwent training in the R&D sector as a manager and project manager. As I had expressed an interest in mobility, I was listened to. This enabled me to change site, to find out about the Catering division and to move closer to home. LDC has always been a Group that has known how to develop careers that meet individual needs and how to listen to and encourage employees. So in 2011, keen to support my professional development, the management offered me a production management job. Being one of the first female production managers at LDC was motivating and inspiring! Opportunities are not in short supply at LDC and four years later, I became site director. Yet another challenge, which I am meeting with enthusiasm! ”
“At LDC our strength is offering opportunities to these who want to commit. The Group supports, develops skills and gives employees the autonomy to demonstrate their potential. Real opportunities to progress are there for those who want to commit and are mobile. I myself have benefited from these opportunities to advance several times. The first time was back in 2016 when I left the Blancfort site to join a site at the original division with a scope that was four times more extensive than before. Then in the spring of 2019, LDC offered me a post as Health and Safety Facilitator at the West division. Today part of my mission is to oversee the division project across the 7 sites. An ambitious project that is focused on health and quality of life at work. Throughout my progression at the LDC Group, I have understood that desire, commitment and tenacity lead to major victories. ”
We owe our success to the contribution of all our employees.
We base our approach on a strategy of external growth through regular buyouts of companies in France and abroad, from which we gain real benefit. Each acquisition is an opportunity to meet new people, to open up and to get new ideas. It also prompts us to ask questions and helps us to remain humble.
We are really proud of our values: work, innovation, responsibility, respect, performance, simplicity. We bring these values to life each and every day within the group. Thanks to our decentralized organization, we maintain our human dimension, share a strong and unique corporate culture and cultivate close relationships.
We strive to improve the working environment of our employees on a daily basis and to pass on and develop internal know-how.

Our farmers are people who are really passionate about their work and their animals, with whom the Lambert Dodard Chancereul Group has enjoyed a trusting relationship for almost 50 years.
In exchange for our farmers’ compliance with the various specifications and their commitments (respect for poultry and the environment, etc.), the Group secures their income through contractualisation (setting prices, securing supplies and outlets) and technical support (advice from breeding and farming specialists, training, quality audits, etc.).
In order to develop livestock farming sustainably, the Group has historically relied on approaches under official quality labels (Label Rouge, Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée, Agriculture Biologique) for free-range poultry, and since 2017 on our ethical “Nature d’Éleveurs” program for certified poultry and everyday poultry.
