Le Gaulois is committed alongside Programme MALIN, for access to quality food for all AND for better nutrition for children and families.

Le Gaulois’ commitment alongside Programme MALIN (je M’ALImeNte bien pour bien grandir) echoes the brand’s mission to promote the consumption of poultry as part of an adapted and healthy diet for all families in France.

The MALIN programme is managed by an association under the law of 1901 whose founding principles are :

– a non-stigmatising approach,

– content anchored on the priority messages from the PNNS (Programme National Nutrition Santé – National Nutrition and Health Plan),

– co-construction by different professional or associative entities concerned by the issue,

– part of scientific evaluation and an innovative economic model involving major French companies.

The ambition of the programme is to develop nutritional practices for better health of babies, infants and their families. Eligible families are contacted thanks to the complementarity between the local structures for usual medical and social care and a digital platform dedicated to the programme.

By including raw products from the Le Gaulois range in its offer, the MALIN programme makes it possible to concretely help families integrate the recommendations of the National Nutrition and Health Programme 4 into their daily lives, including the recommendation to give priority to poultry for meat consumption.

Indeed, the brand’s products are particularly suitable for a healthy diet, with 100% of its meat and raw products rated A or B by Nutriscore.

In addition to its contribution to the food offer, the Le Gaulois brand supports and becomes a “major partner” by contributing financially to the association’s development.

The MALIN Programme, which is part of the Government’s Poverty Plan, is an innovative, family-centred scheme that has proven its real effectiveness in the French departments where it is already deployed. Faced with a dramatic increase in the needs of families in precarious situations, the MALIN Programme is strengthening its actions for healthy, home-made family food thanks to the signature of a partnership with the brand le Gaulois.
