Maître CoQ and Angers SCO Handball, it’s new! The company from Vendée and the Angers club, recently moved up to the second French Handball division, are joining forces as a partnership for the 2020/2021 season.
Maître CoQ, a brand of the LDC food group and n°2 on the poultry market in France, has decided to join forces with Handball and becomes the official partner of Angers SCO Handball for the 2020/2021 season. Based in the Pays de la Loire region in the heart of the Vendée bocage, Maître CoQ thus confirms its desire to be a committed player with real roots in its territory. It is also a way of showing its dynamism to continue recruiting new employees. A strong challenge for the company since Maître CoQ has already hired more than 160 permanent employees to date in 2020: 40 positions are still to be filled by the end of the year at Le Volailler inspiré. Once again, Maître CoQ is keen to be associated with sporting values that resonate strongly internally: a taste for challenge and performance, team cohesion and transmission are part of the company’s DNA and are fully shared with Angers SCO Handball.
For its part, Angers SCO Handball is delighted to be associated with Maître CoQ, as the LDC Group has been present for several years alongside the SCO entity. The brand from Vendée will be present on the back of the jerseys of the club’s professional players playing in the Proligue. It will also be present on numerous communication media in the Jean Bouin room on Angers SCO Handball match days. The Club is pleased to collaborate with a fine company from the region and recognised nationally.
“With this partnership, Maître CoQ once again demonstrates its willingness to participate in the dynamics of the Loire region. The accessibility of the players and the simplicity shown by all SCO members are also part of our DNA and we are delighted to support Handball. It is also an opportunity for us to participate in the construction of the 1st Angers SCO Handball professional sports season. We will share this adventure with all our employees and clients. It’s a great story that’s just beginning…” comments Christophe Guyony, Managing Director of Maître CoQ.
“We are proud to associate our image with that of Maître CoQ. This partnership is part of the club’s approach to promote regional companies with a national reputation. The club is happy to commit itself to an economic player in the region and to be associated with the Maître CoQ brand” declares Christophe Maniable, President of Angers SCO Handball.
